Short answer

Rolex does not make a yellow Deepsea. The catalog lists one steel Deepsea, reference 126660, and one titanium Deepsea Challenge, reference 126067. Neither comes with a yellow dial, a yellow bezel, or a yellow gold case. A listing for a "replica Rolex Deepsea yellow" copies no real reference number. The word "yellow" is a search term, not a model name.

What "yellow" means in listings

Sellers attach the word to three different products. Check the photos before you read the description.

• Aftermarket yellow dial. The maker paints the dial yellow. Rolex never shipped this configuration. No reference number matches it.
• Gold plating. The case and bracelet get a yellow gold finish over stainless steel. Rolex uses 18 k yellow gold on other lines, such as the Submariner 126618LN. The Deepsea has no gold version.
• Yellow details. Some listings mean yellow lume, yellow bezel text, or a yellow rubber strap. These are cosmetic changes to a steel replica.

If a listing claims 3,900 m and shows a 12 mm thick case, the claim is false. That depth rating needs a thick case, a domed sapphire crystal near 5 mm, and a sealed valve.

Checks that show in photos

• Case profile. A 3,900 m case cannot be thin. Replica cases run shallow at the sides.
• Dial print. Text spacing and font weight differ from the real dial in most photos.
• Bezel insert. Real inserts use a ceramic compound. Replicas chip at the edge and fade.
• Weight. Oystersteel and 316L stainless steel have close density. Lower grade alloys and hollow links do not.
• Lume. Rolex Chromalight glows blue. Many replicas glow green or dim.
